There are 3 collections currently available: Geo Grand (shipping now), Shades of Grey (shipping now) and Tilly (shipping Sept/Oct 2011). All 3 are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You may pre-order Tilly to reserve bolts.

Daisy Janie's organic cotton fabrics are 4.5 oz/sq. yd. (153 gsm). The width is 44/45" (112-114 cm).

Our recommendation would be similar to most any other cotton fabric. To maintain the life and vibrancy of the fabrics, machine wash cool, tumble dry low, warm iron. No chlorine bleach or fabric softener. (That said, we have washed all our fabrics in hot water, dried them on high heat and used a hot, full-steam iron on them. They turned out great!)

Absolutely. We will be releasing 2 collections per year, Spring and Fall. Production lead times will vary.

To offset our carbon footprint, we purchase wind energy credits for our electricity and carbon offsets from TerraPass for our freight shipments. We also see that our shipping materials to & from Daisy Janie are fully recycled or repurposed. Incoming shipments include fabrics wrapped in LDPE plastic bags (in accordance with GOTS) in cardboard boxes on wooden pallets wrapped in shrinkwrap. Outgoing shipments include fabrics packaged in LDPE bags (as per GOTS) and contained in cardboard boxes.
